Sustainability, responsibility and good eco practices

If we asked you to think about the Tessa of the past, how much have you changed over the years?

I haven't changed much.
I am certainly less pawing, more calm and balanced.
The interest in the environment, which has been with me since I was a child, has remained unchanged.
I remember my house being surrounded by animals of all kinds; I used to spend my days taking care of them. I think they were the conduit for a broader understanding and love of the planet, along with a sensitivity I inherited from my parents.I grew up in Rosignano, Tuscany, near a chemical industry.
The environmental issues were always in front of my eyes: when the plant wanted to open a production of a very polluting plastic, a rebellion from the local community ensued.
So it was that as a child, together with my parents, I began to take part in demonstrations opposing the construction of the new plant.
My ecological soul lays its foundation on this very experience.
Does the preservation of the environment come first?
The environment always comes first: without clean air, pure water and healthy food, man cannot survive. Our basic needs depend on nature.

Is there still time to save the Planet?

The problem is not saving the Planet, rather we should ask ourselves: are we in time to save the quality of life we are accustomed to? By damaging the Earth we are compromising our future and well-being.
The faster we transition to a sustainable society, the fewer consequences we face.

We take advantage of your experience to ask your advice on how to shop sustainably.

Every time we make a purchase, we should ask ourselves: is there an environmentally friendly alternative? If it exists, it is also obviously the best choice. If it does not exist we should ask ourselves whether that product is really indispensable.

Can environmental friendliness and fashion consciousness be reconciled?

Fashion and environment are absolutely compatible, we learn this from the historical evolution of fashion itself. In the past, fashion has always stood for quality and environmental responsibility, with durable garments and fabrics. Today the logic of fast fashion prevails: cheap clothes that conceal huge environmental and social costs.
Fortunately, a revolution is underway involving sustainable companies - of which Innbamboo and its products are an extraordinary example - and responsible consumers who reward quality and sustainable choices.

Over the summer we saw you wearing Innbamboo's Bamboo Masques: why do you prefer a washable mask over a disposable device?

Reducing environmental impact is the main reason-there is no reason not to prefer a product that can be reused, sanitized, and washed without any difficulty.

Innbamboo stands for harmony and serenity, balance and responsibility.
This is our idea of happiness; what is yours?

I feel happy when I see a beautiful landscape, when I am in contact with nature or beauty. I find nature's expressions fill the heart.
