The unmistakable trademark of Innbamboo creations The Original®, increasingly loved and appreciated in Italy and also abroad, is nourished by these primary elements. Principles that mark out all the stages of an extremely circumscribed and traced supply chain, in order to have maximum control over all aspects of production. And to succeed in this way in declining the primary imperative of sustainability without neglecting the smallest detail.

From the headquarters in Calenzano, the beating heart of the Innbamboo project on the outskirts of Florence, the network of artisans and small businesses that contribute to the creation of our garments and accessories unfolds within a radius that never exceeds 20 km.

A targeted choice pursued since the birth of our project, under the banner of geographic proximity and intent with realities that share our same values, thanks to which we are able to produce only and exclusively in on-demand mode, in response to the actual demand for the product.

Minimizing overproduction and waste, and giving concreteness in this way to a production philosophy that stands at the antipodes of the fast fashion model. Increasingly harmful, and irreconcilable, for those who favor a responsible lifestyle.

The trigger point of this supply chain is the weaving stage, located in Montemurlo. It is here that the extraordinary journey begins that leads to the creation of textile masterpieces in perfect balance between art, style and wearability, starting from the processing and transformation of precious materials, produced in compliance with the most advanced sustainability requirements.

The materials in question are our iconic bamboo yarn, which comes from the East where it has found its natural habitat of cultivation and production for millennia, and tencel, itself imported from Germany.

Yarns of excellent quality, which boast the international green certifications Vegan Ok and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), to which is added, in the case of bamboo, the additional FSC standard.

As a guarantee that the extraction of the woody fiber from which the textile material originates, takes place with the utmost attention to the principles of combating deforestation.

On the strength of these characteristics and certifications, the bamboo, destined for the weft, and the tencel, in turn used to make up the warp, are processed by latest-generation looms powered by solar panels, and thus with the exclusive use of renewable energy, following an organization of the production process marked by as meticulous as rigorous quality control.

Indeed, the entire process is manned by highly specialized technicians who check the smooth progress of the weaving process step by step, with the aim of identifying and eliminating any imperfections. And thus ensure the production of an extremely excellent material.
