Winter, Black Friday, Christmas...
Winter is coming, and with it comes Black Friday and of course Christmas. As the Christmas break approaches, we ask ourselves: how can we participate in this season in a way that is true to our values?
We think it is important to acknowledge these issues and report the discomfort they raise, especially as a company in the fashion industry. Black Friday and the holiday shopping season often deviate from our values and mission.
As a small business, it is impossible for us to keep up with the heavy discounts that big brands offer during this season.
We would love to forgo Black Friday weekend, but the reality is that the sales we make during the vacation season fuel our research-oriented and sustainable work.
We also recognize that many of our customers shop during this time, and we want to offer them the opportunity to buy gifts that align with their values.
Here is how we decided to participate in this year's Black Friday.
This year we want to gratify the people who make Innbamboo's growth possible: our customers.
We will offer them a discount throughout the day on Friday, November 27.
We are very grateful to the people who have consistently supported our brand, and this sale is our way of thanking them.
One of our main goals is to help our customers understand the value of eco-friendly fashion and fair trade and encourage them to consume consciously.
Rather than passively following trends and advertising campaigns, we want our customers to spend time thinking about their real needs and researching the products that can best meet them. So before delving into the madness of online shopping, we hope everyone can take a moment to explore our online store and support a more sustainable and ethical world.
If you plan to shop on Black Friday, we hope you will choose to support brands that align with your values first.
