All the yarns we use to make scarves, dresses and the other accessories in our range bear the OEKO-TEX certification, issued by an international body of an independent nature towards 100% environmentally friendly products, from the point of view of production processes, factories, and for the total absence of harmful substances.
Remaining on the subject of yarns, our organic cotton, used in a variety of production lines, benefits from GOTS certification, an acronym that stands for Global Organic Textile Standard, recognized only for organic textile products from natural fiber crops that do not make use of chemical pesticides, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and that are treated with products that are non-toxic to humans.
Also on the subject of weaving, all Innbamboo® activities having to do with this processing are supported by machinery and systems powered by renewable energy.
Beautiful and sustainable on the outside, but also on the inside. The inner lining of our BambooBag® is made from special INNpet fabric, derived entirely from the recycling of plastic bottles recovered from Italian seas, and for this reason certified Global Recycle Standard.
From fabrics to colors, the argument does not change. To give vibrancy and decorative richness to our garments, we employ handcrafted dyes that are ZDHC standard (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) certified, testifying to the absolute lack of harmful chemicals in their compositions.
Fabric printing is also done according to high standards of quality and sustainability, in full compliance with the European Reach directives, adopted to improve the protection of the environment and human health by combating the use of harmful chemicals.
Regarding the saving and reuse of natural and energy resources, the entire chain of our production processes stands out for the total recycling of the water used, through innovative regeneration processes involving natural treatment with enzymes.
All-round green vocation means utmost scrupulousness even at the end of processing, when it comes time to distribute our creations. That is why, before marketing them, we take care to sanitize all Innbamboo® products using vapors that eliminate the presence of any potentially harmful chemicals, and finally we package them in attractive and exclusive packaging made of FSC-certified natural recycled cardboard, as it is obtained by using raw material from responsible and environmentally sustainable sources.
