The secret of Innbamboo? The word from co-founder and creative director Piergiorgio Caggiari

Without further ado, it is our pleasure to introduce Piergiorgio Caggiari, co-founder and creative director of Innbamboo®.

What makes Innbamboo an innovative project?

We propose and promote a different lifestyle that focuses on accessibility, green philosophy and care for oneself and others. Beautiful and ethical, our products - made of bamboo and other eco-friendly yarns - speak of us and our history.

Today we would like to talk about Bamboo Scarves: are they your most successful product?

Yes. Foulard Bamboo® defines us perfectly.
Now a registered trademark, designed and produced in Italy by our company, our scarves are a hymn to creativity and respect for the environment.
The use of bamboo yarn then allows us to obtain truly unique scarves: breathable, gentle on the skin, versatile and suitable for all seasons, as our slogan states: warm in winter and fresh in summer.

Bamboo Scarves

Over the years we have created 4 lines, more than 90 colors and over 500 references in the catalog; there is certainly no shortage of variety.

The line we are perhaps most fond of is ART, where each of our decorative designs expresses the distinctive mark of a great name in international pictorial art: Basquiat, Gauguin, Warhol, Dali, Monet and many others.

Each decoration is presented in about 15 color variations, for a proposal that embraces all shades of color.

Solid Color

Color is one of our strengths: more than 80 shades available, obtained by the artisanal technique of "mal dyed," which offers unique shades and effects for each scarf.

Soft Touch

More recent and very popular is the SOFT TOUCH line, designed for those who like an extra soft fabric. Obtained through washing systems that make the bamboo fiber more comfortable and silky to the touch, SOFT TOUCH scarves are available in two variations: the Chiaroscuro, distinguished by degradé effects, and the Contrast, with geometric or abstract patterns, inspired by coloring techniques such as Tie dye and Shibori. Each scarf in the SOFT TOUCH line is a unique piece.

Junior

Finally, the line JUNIOR, designed for and dedicated to younger children. Decorations inspired by the world of fairy tales placed on scarves with small dimensions that also win over many adults.

Where are the creations of Innbamboo born?

We are strictly Made in Tuscany. Our production site is in Calenzano, north of Florence.

All the research and processing steps-from refining the yarns to making the fabric, printing, dyeing, cutting and packaging-are handled within a small 20-mile radius.

Can we ask you for some usage tips?

First of all, let me remind you that Bamboo Scarves® are available in two sizes - 190x90 cm and 135x55 cm - so as to meet all needs, including those who prefer smaller format accessories.

Otherwise, they are a truly versatile accessory, to be used in all environmental conditions and in all circumstances, from the most formal to the most casual, to give space from time to time to elegance or creativity.

Suffice it to say that Bamboo Scarves® can turn into practical costume covers, by virtue of the fabric's lightness, breathability and ease of drying.

That's not all: Bamboo Scarves® can become a colorful blouse with sleeves and a waist knot for a more youthful outfit, a comfortable kimono-style vest with the option of a waist belt for a more elegant style, or a comfortable poncho for cooler summer evenings.

A practical tip: How do you wash Bamboo scarves?

The fabric from which we make our scarves is classified as extra lightweight but has performed very well in strength tests.

We recommend gentle hand or machine washing at a temperature no higher than 30°C to preserve our dyes. Possibly with neutral, organic soap.

No detail is random: what about packaging?

Respect for the environment is something we care about and is also expressed in our packaging. Made of FSC-certified recycled cardboard, which has become an icon of the product itself, the packaging of Bambo Scarves®.

Also confirming the quality of your scarves are important certifications.

Yes. We are strictly Made in Italy and VEGAN OK certified. Our yarns also have OEKO-TEX certification, while the packaging is FSC certified.
